Increase Mid-Lower Back Flexibility with the Arm Swing

By: Craig Fitzpatrick

The arm swing exercise helps to improve flexibility in the mid and lower back, hips, and shoulders. It also helps to improve circulation in the arms (try it and you’ll know what I mean). Also, instead of reaching for a coffee when you’re feeling that mid afternoon slump, try this instead.
Awww, who am I kidding! I know you’re going to have the coffee anyway, but maybe only get a tall size instead of a 7-11 64 ounce, ok? Trust me, the arm swings will give you enough of a boost that you won’t miss the other 53 ounces. It is a great warm up for exercise, particularly for golf, tennis, or any throwing activity. I suggest listening to and/or singing at the top of your lungs It’s Not Unusual by Tom Jones while doing this to get a good rhythm.
