If your glutes (e.g. buttocks, behind, etc.) is not activating, your back is/is going to be in a world of pain and dysfunction. From walking, to squatting, to running, to  whatever activity you like to do, the glutes need to be large and in charge. If they are not in charge, your lower back and your hamstrings may try to take over, which is never a good idea (if you want to be pain free and awesome at whatever you do). In this video, we will introduce you to the Bridge Exercise, which is a simple and effective exercise to engage your glutes. We will also give you tips on what to do if your hamstrings or lower back are trying to steal the show, and how to tame those guys.
