Auto Accident

Even seemingly minor auto accidents can lead to painful long-term conditions when not treated properly. At Hosmer Chiropractic Health, we use a phased approach to treating accident-related injuries that considers your short- and long-range health and is designed to:

  • Quickly reduce pain
  • Restore and preserve joint range of motion
  • Prevent scar tissue formation
  • Reduce the likelihood of long-term health complications, such as recurrent headaches

Some chiropractic adjustments and other manual therapies are best applied once your body has had a chance to recover from the initial trauma of an accident. That’s why our initial treatments often focus on reducing pain by decreasing inflammation and the intensity of muscle spasms. Throughout the entire treatment process we listen carefully to how your symptoms are changing to tailor our treatments accordingly. And we collaborate with you along the entire journey back to health by providing home-care techniques and general tips for restoring strength and mobility and maintaining comfort.

Testimonial: Auto Accident

“I was in a pretty bad car accident that resulted in some major neck pain. Dr. Hosmer not only does adjustments but shows you various home care techniques to help hurry up the healing process. He did such wonders that I recommended my wife and a friend see him. Both are convinced he is a miracle worker. In addition to offering chiropractic care, Hosmer Chiro offers massage therapy. Both massage therapists are top-notch. You will not be disappointed.”

Oregon Personal Injury Protection (PIP)

Hosmer Chiropractic works with all major insurance companies.

PIP coverage is mandatory for nearly all Oregon auto insurance policies. With PIP coverage in place, you and all the passengers in the car are insured regardless of whose is at fault for an accident (typically up to $15,000). It also covers you if you are a pedestrian or a cyclist. PIP insurance covers medical expenses and lost wages and will pay for your care of  injuries, including costs and co-pays for chiropractic care, out-of-pocket prescription costs, or other similar costs.
