Getting Back to Normal
Whether or not you have painful symptoms, if you’ve recently experienced whiplash it’s a good idea to see a whiplash chiropractor as soon as possible to make sure you don’t have any hidden issues that could cause future health problems. At Hosmer Chiropractic Health, our goal is to help quickly reduce pain and mobility issues while always carefully considering your long-term health. We start with a thorough evaluation to make sure we understand the types and severity of your injuries as well as how they are impacting your lifestyle. Our treatments may include:
- Manual therapy—Occasional adjustments, combined with soft tissue rehabilitation, designed to restore normal movement and position of vertebrae.
- Soft tissue rehabilitation—Noninvasive therapies designed to return tight or damaged soft tissues in the back and neck to regular motion, including massage therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching, and strength and range-of-motion exercises.
- Home care—Personalized programs that are designed to help speed recovery and prevent reinjury. We provide postural education and active range of motion exercises as well as education for the use of ice packs and nutritional supplements that may be helpful.
Testimonial: Motor Vehicle Whiplash Treatment
“I was in a Motor Vehicle Accident in March of 2012, and I’ve been seeing the exceptional staff at Hosmer Chiropractic. The massage therapists are incredibly healing; they knew just when to apply the right pressures, techniques, and stretching. I really enjoy the Active Release Therapy that the doctors and the therapists apply. Before the accident, I was in the best shape of my life, and the staff at Hosmer have made it possible for me to enjoy the activities that I was before my accident in record time. Not only has the staff helped me recover from my soft tissue damage, they have helped me improve my posture, my overall awareness of muscle response, and have given me the tools to strengthen and repair those areas that were compromised in the accident. I HIGHLY recommend this group of professionals to anyone who has an injury or would just like to improve their overall physiological health. Thank you Dr. Devasto, Dr. Hosmer, Leah, Kim, Star and Carmen.” -Leslie B.
Oregon Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
Hosmer Chiropractic works with all major insurance companies.
PIP coverage is mandatory for nearly all Oregon auto insurance policies. With PIP coverage in place, you and all the passengers in the car are insured regardless of whose is at fault for an accident (typically up to $15,000). It also covers you if you are a pedestrian or a cyclist. PIP insurance covers medical expenses and lost wages and will pay for your care of whiplash injuries, including costs and co-pays for chiropractic care, out-of-pocket prescription costs, or other similar costs.
