Maddie Ostergaard (She/Her)
LMT #28974 | Oregon City
Maddie graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts after earning her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Oregon University (EOU). During her time at EOU, she captained the Women’s Soccer Team — an experience that sparked her deep interest in injury rehabilitation and the body’s natural capacity to heal. Her background in collegiate athletics and movement continues to influence her work today.
Maddie’s practice centers on musculoskeletal support, pain relief, and helping clients feel more connected to their bodies. Her sessions are shaped by intuitive care and active listening, allowing her to tailor each treatment to how a client is feeling that day. She emphasizes nervous system regulation and fascial release as foundational elements, creating the conditions for the body to settle before moving into deeper therapeutic work. In her final term at East West, she completed electives focused on structural deep tissue, Tui Na, and elements of Craniosacral Therapy. Post-graduation, Maddie joined Soma Discovery’s group practice in Oregon City and continues to deepen her work in structural deep tissue, somatic awareness, and movement education.
Outside the treatment room, Maddie works for a local tree company and enjoys learning about Portland’s urban canopy. She also tends to a small flower garden of her own and spends much of her free time outdoors: camping, hiking, swimming, soaking in hot springs, and exploring with her puppy, Poppy.
